I'm a Titan's fan, but I bet there'll be more people there for this game than any Titans game between now and then.

Good move, the metropolitan area is going to be huge recruiting wise for the foreseeable future. The population continues to grow, and coaching has gotten better. That area will continue producing more and more high level talent, mise well expose them to UT early on.

We could have asked to use Dudley Field since it is usually all orange when it sells out.

Oh, never mind. We need a stadium twice that size when we play in Nashville.

I'm sure Kyle Phillips will love to play his first game in orange in his home town. :)

Tennessee should play The Blazers in Neyland Stadium. There is no reason to play that game in Nashvegas!

Yeah, its not like its a good idea to beat the hell out of a team in a critical part of the state and backyard of a rival while debuting our shiny new Nike gear....

Still playing 7 homegames. I am curious how the finances work with this agreement. Is this purely recruiting? A bone to the Nashville fan base? Or more money for UAB. Can't be a good financial move for us can it?

This guy gets it!

Plus, UT owns the State and will play their games wherever they want to play them, and Candy can suck it.

Hopefully Vandy has a home game on the same day. We can prove, again, that nobody gives a f*** about them.

Seriously? :banghead2: Did you not see what happened yesterday?

We just signed 8 players from Middle Tennessee and the Nashville Metro area and the next several years show no signs of lacking major high caliber talent in the Nashville & Murfreesboro area.

Recruiting is the life blood of any program and its good to show that we are going to be in the City of Nashville!

If we played UAB this year instead of Oregon, we would've been in a bowl. Just saying...

To hell with that. Let's just join C-USA and we can go bowling every year!

A more appropriate response would be that we play Oklahoma the following week.
