Haven't you heard....no one will be around then. 2012 brother!

So says the Mayans. But what do they know? They killed themselves with a human created drought due a disruption of their natural environment. Oh wait....

You all are knee deep in a basketball game right now but I just read about this and wanted to stop by and say Im looking forward to this home and home. Its hard to get excited for a game that far out though. I must say though you guys dont screw around with scheduling. Other SEC schools dont do that and rightfully so. Much respect. The kids playing in that game are getting a bed time story right now and just started playing football. See you in a decade..... unless we see you at a bowl (BCS type preferably)

God I'm old. i'll be 45.

i've decided i don't want to know any more about the future. i'd kind of like to stick around in the present for a while.

Jake, I will have you beat by 6 years, though I cant even begin to think that far down the road, or more like I dont want too.

The Associated Press
Tennessee has scheduled a two-year series with Ohio State for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
The Volunteers will host the Buckeyes in the Sept. 1, 2018, season opener and will travel to Columbus on Sept. 7, 2019.
Tennessee has faced Ohio State only once before, a 20-14 win by the Vols in the 1996 Florida Citrus Bowl. The teams entered that game tied for fourth in The Associated Press poll.

Sorry if this has been posted but I was so excited when I saw this on the ESPN bottom line sports tracker!

Yes, yes, yes!

My roommate my freshman year here at UT was from Ohio. His first college football game was UNLV. He saw Tennessee's last W over UF as well.

He transferred to Ohio State the following year due to the cost of out-of-state tuition.

He still considers himself a UT fan.

All that means I have a ticket barring my passing before 2018

By that time you'll be attending the game as a member of a respected media outlet.

Wow, this is a dream come true from a Tennessee fan stuck in Ohio... If only we can sweep this series I would no longer ever have to take $hit from anyone up here, I would just have to remind them about the football games :)

I know exactly how you feel man. Last year Sweet 16 had to be the worst time of my life.

For the sake of making an argument, it'll be interesting to see an SEC school travel to a Big11Ten venue. Let's face it, SEC schools don't travel north all too often.

Ya dude same here. To this day I still get crap from everybody when I wear Tennessee stuff. People I do not even know will just be like Tennessee psh remember when the Bucks beat em. That day was basically hell though, especially because all my teachers got on me to.

Same here. I will never bee so happy to see a rival school win the football and basketball title in the same year. The brackets I won over people who had OSU winning it all made me feel a little better.
