Rankings FTA:

1. Will Grier, West Virginia
2. Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama
6. Drew Lock, Missouri
9. Jarrett Stidham, Auburn
11. Jake Fromm, Georgia
14. Jake Bentley, South Carolina
24. Kyle Shurmur, Vanderbilt

94. Feleipe Franks, Florida
95. Terry Wilson, Kentucky
107. Hasaan Klugh, Charlotte
122. Ryan Metz, UTEP

Yeah, that is a challenging array of QBs.

Obviously, some of them will get injured and we won't see them but our history with back ups makes me pray for the health of all these guys.

Wow... what a terrible class of quarterbacks.

Will Grier is the #1 qb in the nation? Will "juiced" Grier? I am struggling with that pick. Better than Fromm? Better than Tagovailoa? Fitgerald, Stidham or Browning? I am not sure Grier would even be in my top ten.

For this one brief moment, I actually know who plays QB for Charlotte. As soon as I leave this thread, the moment will pass.

Last I checked there were 10 other guys on the field along with the QB. One player does not win the game. I think we beat at least 3 of the top 25 in the list.

Welcome to the SEC. Amazing how 2 quarters of play have Tua up to #2 in rankings.

We are gonna spank at least 4 of those QBs!

Not sure Jake Fromm quite belongs on that level yet. He proved to be a good game manager who made some plays, but he may not even be starting by mid October.

It’s a nonsensical list. They have Martinez, a true freshman who’s never taken a collegiate snap at Nebraska #67....ahead of Chryst. They got incoming LSU 4star freshman Myles Brennan at #85....again, kid has never played a snap of collegiate football.

And Guarantano, who was the 8th rated passer in the SEC last season, isn’t even on the list......while Feleipe Franks, who was awful last year and had a far lower QB rating than JG, rolls in at #94. Dumb list.

2 quarters of play? Tua threw 11 tds in 8 brief appearances last year as a backup qb. And clearly, those “2 quarters” of football made an impression since he all but single handedly came in and won the national title on the biggest stage in college football. I don’t know if he’s the second best qb in the country or not, but I don’t have a problem with him being in at least the top 10-12 or so. That said, all things considered, the list is crap anyway.

72. Keller Chryst, Tennessee

Jarrett Guarantano (15 of 27 for 226 yards and two scores) finished the spring on a high note, but he will have to compete with Chryst for the No. 1 spot this fall. New coach Jeremy Pruitt landed Chryst as a graduate transfer from Stanford, giving the Volunteers an experienced option to navigate a brutal 2018 schedule. Chryst completed 160 of 289 passes for 1,926 yards and 19 touchdowns during his three years with the Cardinal. He went 6-0 as the team’s No. 1 quarterback in 2016 and started seven contests before losing the job to K.J. Costello in 2017.

What do you guys think about Hurts? He can transfer after this season as a graduate with no penalty. If we still are in need of a seasoned qb in 2019 would you all like to see us take him? He has shown a lot of maturity and poise for a young kid although his decisions in the pocket are suspect at times.

He should run some wildcat and either RB/WR.

He's a great athlete and has composure but he doesn't have the natural talent QB talent to be great. He grinds and gets the win but he won't be prolific.
