I'm a little slow or just didn't get the sarcasm but they are two different rivers. Deliverence was filmed on the Chattooga River on GA/SC border and the Olympics were held on the Ocoee.

No the movie was filmed on the Tallulah in the gorge and the lower sections of the Chattooga.

The olympics were held on the Ocoee

The Toccoa and Ocoee are the same river. The name changes when it crosses the Georgia/Tennessee border.
