UT Sports Info screwed up when we were allowed out there so we saw just 1:42 of practice.

Couple quick-hitters: Jeremy Banks was with the ILBs and the OLBs still had Mincey, Middleton and Bumphus.

Also, Garland was back out there with the DL and Kasin Hill was out there but was not participating in routes on air.

And that's all I saw.

Sophomore Jeremy Banks appeared to be going through drills with the inside linebackers on Thursday.
He moved there twice during his freshman season only to return to running back, where he's been throughout this offseason dating back to spring practice.

Daniel Bituli (knee) again was absent as the Vols continue to hold him out of practices.

Freshman Roman Harrison was present but again looked to be limited during drills.

Wednesday?

I hope Banks back at LB is because Chaney has decided our freshman RB Gray is too good to keep off the field.
Gray is a better back than Banks I feel. It might mean that Crouch is going to be our short yardage guy this year, he's rated higher than both of them as a RB.

I think you're right. Considering we also have Ty, Tim, and even Fils-Aime, we are doing fine there.

Even if Banks is at linebacker, he can still be used in short yardage situations if needed.

He was the very first person on the video. Or are you saying this is the first time in a few practices?

What is going on with Crouch? Haven't heard a word about him all week
Been thinking the same thing for a couple weeks. He’s in the videos, just not generating as much buzz as the others. We may have to be patient with him... Remember he was mostly a RB in high school. Probably more raw than the others.
