Heading to St Louis over the UT/Mizzou weekend. Any thoughts on where to watch the game?

Any awesome restaurants and bars in general?

Thanks for the tip. We are actually in town to see the Titans on Sunday, but I definitely want to watch the Vols Saturday night in St Louis. Our Hotel is right downtown.

The Hill's great for Italian food...it's hard to go wrong with any restaurant there.

Another great place for earlier in the day is a barbecue joint called Pappy's Smokehouse over near St. Louis University

Pappys Smokehouse

It got really famous after the Riverfront Times and the Travel Channel began pointing it out. The food's really good; usually worth the line (which, be warned, you might have a long wait on the weekends).

Address: 3106 Olive St St Louis, MO 63103

Probably better to go earlier in the day if it's the weekend

Screw the chains guys. Head to The Hill. It has the best Italian food west of New York City.

How about Columbia? It's only a 2 1/2 hr drive from da Lou. Just a thought.

Pretty much anything on the Hill, Pappy's Smokehouse, and a Dewey's are my recommendations.

Clayton's also a very nice part of town, but it often can be more expensive

If you're downtown St Louis, go to the Lumiere Casino, great sports bar there. Many tv's, good food, gambling few feet away. Enjoy!
