Going down with 2 friends would love to know a place where vol fans will be. First time in the swamp for all 3 of us.

First trip to the swamp for the wife and I. I'd like to hang out with some Vols fans before the game. We should get a VN tailgate going

Id be down with that. Lets set it up. Well need some experience though, as it is my first trip to G-ville as well.

A guy on a thread over on 247 said there should be places to set up along university avenue. This is my first trip to the swamp also, so I'm almost completely clueless.

A friend and I will be there, as well. There is usually a large "official" tailgate...I'll check around. Would love to meet up with some of you if anyone is interested.

Right, I get that. Like I said, Im not a penny pincher, but i dont want to be around small children and family. Nothing against it I have a family of my own, I just tend to get a little wild for gameday, but I dont wanna spend 18 bucks to walk in and leave. So, is this more of a family friendly event?

Embers' bone-in ribeye was fantastic. All the sides were great...esp the blue cheese fire roasted tomato. Highly recommended.

Sorry for not replying back here in time. We ended up at an RV lot by the Hilton which was about 2 miles from Ben Hill Griffin but they had a shuttle running constantly which was nice. It was a great time other than the game itself
