Vols should be in finals

After watching way too much basketball, I think Tennessee is better than each member of the final four. Tennessee is better than Michigan State, Auburn, Texas Tech and Virginia. Especially Virginia.

That is exactly what I told someone the other day, except for the pubic hairs. And, I said 12 teams also.

Its a tough pill to swallow when you consider our expectations for this year, what next year is startng to look like, and the fact it took a once in a lifetime career game from cline coupled with multiple 50 50 calls going against the Vols at the end.

I felt like they could beat anyone in the country and did not fear Duke in the slightest

Alas none of it matters now. I just want this tourney to be over

Solid solid D and efficient patient offense. Hard to believe that type team was the first ever 16v1 seed loss, and by a blowout last season. I was a little for AU, but I'm happy for UVA too. Like their coach and play. Win Monday and that's a heck of a bounce back from last yrs humiliation.

Yet we lost to Purdue who lost to UVA. And Auburn owned us this year. Yeah...we're top dogs. No doubt about it. 🙄

We flat out didn't earn it when it mattered. I'm sure our players took it hard, after working all year and off-season to get to the FF and try to win it.

I was really hoping to see a UVA & UT matchup just due to the styles. Also a Duke one too. Great season, but disappointing at the same time.

In 10 years most fans are going to look back and say " remember the 2018-19 team that had Grant Williams, SEC POY and first team All- American as well as Jordan Bone and Admiral Schofield? That team really underachieved in the SEC and NCAAT" No banners at all with that talent. "

Kinda like the feeling many have about the teams during the Ernie and Bernie era. Best UT team of my lifetime and they crapped the bed in the post season. Been there. Seen that.

KY beat Auburn twice then Auburn beat them that justifies what he saying all the teams are so close you have a little off game or a ref call at the wrong time can go either way. So if they played 3rd time would UT win for sure who knows..
