That's one more than our WR position. Nice try again.

If that is what you had said, I would have agreed, but it's not. Look, I was a huge Dalton fan and even made a highlight video of him and McNeil, but to say he was our "best prospect" is downright absurd/ridiculous/blasphemy/etc...

Are you stupid we need 4 line backers this year. We only need 2 WR and im talking about on the field. So we need linebackers bad in this class.

It's not just who we are losing it's that other school are getting commitments from a bunch of 4 and 5 star guys are have up until now been uncommitted. That's why I've been saying all along that this class wouldn't finish in the top 10 but nobody wanted to hear it. It's not just about who we lose it's also about who the other schools are getting.

This class started bad and is ending bad. Thank G-D we got Blanc and Bullock to get the ball rolling back in July. If Santos was the hammer and Peters the nail who is going to be the coffin?

DOOLEY AND HIS BAMER FRIENDS SAL & MIKE ARE THE COFFIN.:banghead2:

Sadly I have to agree with scout. This class if you look at it SUCKS! Filled with average players besides PIG and Drae and some jucos. This class is trash compared to Bama, Florida and pretty much all of our rivals. If you disagree and think this class will put us in Atlanta in the future you have no freaking clue on what your talking about!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

And I stand by that statement HE WAS OUR BEST ****ING PROSPECT! Ask anyone who knows anything about evaluating prospects and they will tell your slow ass.

Santos far and away was not our best ____ing prospect by any means. There are several other commits we have that will prove to be better players than Santos...

If you honestly think ESPN's ratings are the end all about Santos and his skill as a MLB you are crazy

Ironically, Dalton Santos was the recruit with the slow ass.

Yes, it would of been nice to have an ILB on our team.

EDIT: All-American* ILB. Hell, an All-American anything would be sweet. Not that some of our guys aren't. Talking myself in a circle here. Go vols! :)

He was slow but he could play hit like no other. Remember he plays middle linebacker not outside so he doesnt have to run all over the field.

The way he hits with his head, he will have brain problems or neck problems pretty soon.

I like your thinking but not your delivery. We had plenty of committed wr's about a month ago. Who did we sign at LB thats worth a damn? None. That's who. Not one LB signed. Unless we try converting some defensive ends over, Tennessee missed an opportunity here.

I love having a bunch of really talented WR's signed. But it is obvious in college football that great defenses win championships. Sorry for the cliche. But it's true. We need to stop the ever changing offenses of the SEC. With many of them turning to spread and the others mixing up there O, we are gonna need talented guys all over the field but mostly in that front 7. Yeah, I know we signed a s-load of d-lineman. But LB is just as important, especially when it comes to stopping the run and defending short routes in the passing game.

This class isn't bad. We have the pieces to be a good team this year. Our offers out for next year are awesome. With some victories this year, we will be set up well down the line. Additionally, we are a still young team. Experienced, but young.

I know they have tradition, but I still do not know how Miami and Ohio State finished with a top 10 class. I have not heard about the NCAA'S investigation with Miami in months, what's up with that?
