I agree that Iowa's overrated but that was the safe play. They probably actually like Michigan State for the 4 spot but would have created a lot of controversy placing them ahead of an undefeated team in the same conference. As it happens, it'll work itself out in the Big Ten championship game.

Politics aside, she is an extremely bright and accomplished lady.

But, she is a ND grad so there might be some bias.

They have played two good teams, but unlike us they got waxed in those games. We would crush them.

There's not a team on top 25 list that would want to play TN at this point. Good job to the team and coaches.

I thought Condi was a Stanford gal....




EDIT: My bad, she lectured at Stanford, but that's not where she went to school.

University of Denver undergrad, then master's from Notre Dame, and post-grad work at Moscow State University and finally finishing up with her doctorate back at University of Denver.

Pretty excited to know that we will get coverage all bowl season as a ranked team and be able to sell it on the trail.

Feels like a small little reward for such a good season that still feels slightly empty.

I'm all for constructive criticism of the team and coaching when merited. But, I hope this ranking helps those who have been a little overly critical see that the program is on the right track . . . for the first time in a long time.
