Does anybody in their right mind (so stay out of it Tidwell) think UT will be in the top 10? Dont miss the point that Tennessee football has now become NC State/Clemson/Texas A&M/Oregon State. Welcome to the "good/decent" world and say goodbye to "great/elite". Now that Saban is at Bama in a few years the SEC will be all Bama vs Florida with LSU & UGA once in a while. Mark my words.

I'm fairly sane and yes, I think a top 10 finish is a distinct possibility.

As for the rest, well, I hate that your team makes you so miserable. I find that I can still take immense pride in wearing orange and white.

I wasnt talking about you saying the Vols would be in the top ten, just that you've never been in you right mind.

Why is it that if dont drink the "everything is wonderful, Phil's coach of the year, we'll go undefeated kool-aid people will say things like what you wrote above. Give me a freakin' break, just because the current state of our program is subpar imo doesnt mean I love the Vols any less or that I'm not proud of the University of Tennessee. Dont make broad indictments about me when you dont even know me.

What I said was not that you "loved the vols any less" or that you were "not proud of UT". What I said was that I hated it for you that the team you love was such a disappointment to you.

I respect that you feel slighted by the product on the field. I don't share your opinion. I usually abstain from responding to the many who feel as you do around here. I also don't indict anyone for having an opinion.

One major problem I see is having UGA ranked 16th and ahead of Auburn - no way. The dawgs have loads of problems and they simply are nowhere near as good as Auburn even though they beat the Tigers easily last year; that game was a fluke. If UGA ever gets guts enough, which I doubt, to start playing the big boys in non-conference games you will see how really average the Ga program really is.

iced tea......Im a big fan, but I like it with a little peach flavoring.
