Palmer has never been “good”.... he’s always had issues with drops and it’s unfortunate because he is fast for his size but there are countless games where he had crucial drops and it happens consistently.

First big game this happened was Florida in 2017.

You gotta remember ... these reporters get like a 5 minute glimpse of practice. They see a very tiny fraction of what goes on. And what they see is probably the most vanilla part of practice. I wouldn't read much into it one way or another.

seems JG only looks for Palmer alot of times - when JJ is wide open ( I saw this post in some other threads)

Jennings was kicked off the team because Brady Hoke was butt-hurt about Jennings' complaints about the coaching staff not giving a damn.

I always have found the idea that Jennings did something "wrong" to be a huge stretch. He probably shouldn't have tweeted his criticisms publicly, but kicking him off the team said more about the insecurity of Butch's staff than about JJ.

Where is Elijah Simmons?!

Kid is 6’2 340ish, who can dunk a basketball...purportedly the strongest, or one of the strongest players on the team...

If he’s hurt...I missed it. If not....why isn’t this kid in the 2 deep?!

I think we seen Saturday why they only get to see the "vanilla" part or we would've known what was coming this year.

You’re downplaying what he said. Lot of profanity...lot of hood rat. He made an ass of himself. Hoke’s a goober but made the right call and in the process did Jennings a favor. There’s always somebody higher in the food chain. Spout off and try to hide behind being a competitor and you find out how far or not you can go.

While that may be true and we all know it is .....then Pruitt missed an opportunity to send a message to reporters etc that we are not status quo and standing for this crap. We are pissed, it’s not alright, I take full responsibility in the let down and I take full responsibility in this weeks rebound. I’ve always been told and in my worst years of win vs loss seasons my theory has been that if someone shows up to watch practice or drives down the road dur8ng practice they better see and hear us unleashing hell on ourselves before we can our opponent. Things are too nice on the Hill currently. Just my opinion. As always. GBO I will be in my seat Saturday pulling for our guys

What’s up with the freshman DL, Simmons? Seemed early on he was impressing but have not heard anything lately. He should be getting some playing time.

He may have said things he shouldn’t have but if hadn’t caused any issues before that then kicking him off the team was a bit of an overreaction.

Plus we all knew Hoke was going be around after the Vandy game so he shouldn’t have had the authority to kick him off.

Sure he took it to Currie but he wasn’t worth a crap either. At most the kid should’ve been suspended for the Vandy game and maybe going in to next year.
