Because you don’t saddle a HC with someone else’s choice. The S&C is the coaches link to the team all year long...more than an administrative position.

I wonder why Fitz didn’t get a raise? He turned down Maryland to stay here. We probably pay him top money already.

Some HAVE said that JG needs to improve some things. Some have also said, correctly, that if the OL improves from being literally the worst OL in the country, that our QB by default improves with more time to throw and a balanced attack.

Additionally, since our OL was the reason for having virtually no running game and our running backs being stuffed BEHIND the line of scrimmage on a ridiculous 1/3 of all run plays, which “led” the country, BY FAR, that our running backs would probably also benefit greatly and appear much improved if our incompetent OLs could take a monumental, historical leap forward to being just a below average SEC offensive line.

Don’t do it dude....don’t make those proclamations before you’ve even seen him play in pads. Remember what Pruitt said just today.....per 247
