The more I see of Elijah Simmons, the more excited I get. That's a whole lotta man moving with a quickness you can't teach. Somebody make sure this kid gets coached up and he will be killing it by the end of the year.

What's his height listed at? Seems to be a perfect fit for the nose tackle position

Nah, nothing that cynical. I was simply saying that I was very hopeful Chaney would have a heavy hand in our OL development, and this little tidbit shows that he does. Friend and our OL will benefit from one of the CFB offensive greats.

I was wondering about TEs as I typed that. Seems he actually coached OL for two seasons. TE is a hybrid OL/Receiver position too.

Basically the man has 11 years of OL coaching experience mixed in with all of the time he was probably helping as an OC

1988–1992 Cal State Fullerton (OC/OL)
1994–1996 Wyoming (OL/RC)
2006–2007 St. Louis Rams (OL)

Keep your eyes on Roman Harrison. I've loved this kid since I saw video of him playing nose tackle at 235 lbs and running down a wide receiver 40 yards downfield. There is a great mention of him on 247 that anyone can read. He's going to be an outside lb and will probably play in four lesser games then redshirt. But the writer on 247 said he already looks like a 30 year old man physically.

Don't believe we are going to have the luxury of redshirting anyone in the front 7 who can play at all.

I do, the last time was literally the NSD when he officially chose Tennessee. He’s pretty much doused that fan excitement every day since, to the point where I don’t even think of him when I consider the LB rotation this year. Excited about Crouch and Henry T though.

He was turning the corner in spring practice until he had a shoulder injury.

Let me help you guys out. The Vols finish the season 5-7 again and don't go to a bowl game. There I saved you months of agony.
