Vol's Practice on ESPN?

Anyone know what time the Vol’s practice will to broadcast today and if it’s on ESPN or ESPN2. I looked at my local listing on Yahoo and it doesn’t show anything about it.

COOL! Can wait, sounds like it's going to be a long lunch today, maybe even a good enough excuse to blow off the whole afternoon.

The last play was a goal line TD with big Cory Anderson going over the top! Once he was in the air, nobody was stopping that jumbo jet.

Definitely got me pump for some football.

For reference I’ll have to watch the LSU practice on Friday at 1:00 just to make some comparisons and see what we're up against.

Clausen and Ainge both looked good...I just dont see a huge difference between the two...both had lots of zip on the ball...After a couple drops WR's came back and looked good too...Can't wait til Sept 3, I'll be in section Y10 screaming my head off!!! GO VOLS!!!!! :clapping: :peace2:

Well first of all, we didn't see any long balls....that would be one difference. The other difference would be that Ainge wasn't throwing that hard most of the time...Rick was. I don't care who starts anymore as long as they get the job done.

And to answer your question VOL_AHOLIC, no they didn't rip us any. I have to say that ESPN airing the practice throws a bit of a monkey wrench in my ESPN conspiracy theory.....unless they were trying to show our competition something.... :ninja:

Actually the coverage was surprisingly positive. There were compliments about the players and coaching staff.

I thought Ainge really looked good on those last goal line drills. That's not to say that Clausen was bad.
It looked like a draw offense vs defense. yes the O scored, but the D stuffed'em a couple times and got a sack.

That was good, I taped the last half. i didn't know it was on until about 15minutes in...

For the last few years they have shown the practice of the top 5 teams. not to throw a wrench in your conspiracy theory :shades:

It looks to me as if Fulmer may be leaning towards Clausen. He has been getting alot of first team reps. He was also listed as the starter for last Saturdays scrimmage. I'm looking forward to seeing who starts the scrimmage this weekend.

I didn't expect to see anything earth shattering from either side of the field, don't want to give our opponents to much to work with prior to the start of the season. I don't expect to see thing huge until the florida game.

As far as the ESPN conspiracy theory goes, ESPN is in business to sell advertisement and rating sell advertisements, and we all know controversy increases rating. ESPN never claimed to be a un-bias source of information, they are just entertaining there audience.

Well, conspiracy or not, I sure was glad that I could watch the Vols practice. For the most part, they looked pretty good.

It was nice to see Gandy moving around so well. Blocking Mahelona will make you a good center even if you're not. I also like the fact that Cory Anderson is now our short yard, goal line back. He was looking very athletic today.

With the exception of a couple of dropped passes, things went well.
