Well ain't it obvious? They hate us.
hear this about UK literally every year. 28yrs Old and seen us lose to them 1 time. Last yr showed how far apart the two programs really are. Lose Zadarius Smith and Bud Dupree and now theyre magically better on Defense? GTFOH
I think we have to be careful at looking at last year as a gauge as to where the 2 programs are. Don't get me wrong; I think we are the better team/program, and we are certainly more talented. But last year UK was playing their 8th straight game without a bye, including their 7th SEC game in that stretch. OTOH, we were coming off a bye week where we had a chance to get our legs back and get some people rested, as well as having 2 weeks to prepare for UK. I think UK was gassed and beaten up badly by the time of that game. They had just gone through a gauntlet with no depth. I think we are clearly the better team, but I'm not certain we were really 50-16 better than them last season.

It is interesting how a team like KY that has a back loaded schedule. They start fast, generate a lot of unwarranted noise, and then tail off when they start playing the tougher teams.
Our schedule, on the other hand, seems always to be heavily front loaded, and this one is no different. We will do well to get through the first half at 4-2. But 3-3 would not be catastrophic for those of us who see the big picture, because the back half is more manageable.
If we get out to a really strong start, though, watch out because it could be a special season.

He'll still be back in 2016 even with that record.
