It is definitely an area UT's defense can take advantage of against OU because of how banged up their OL is right now. In the last game, UK's OC did a good job coaching up their QB to get rid of the ball quickly out to the perimeter where our defense has issues tackling in space. We need to get back to sacking the QB! All of a sudden, we just cut down on bringing pressure, and it hasn’t help the overall performance of our Defense.
We have given up an average of 36 PPG in SEC play so maybe it is not 40 but it will be darn close.Ole Miss' offense isn't as good as ours. So Ole Miss hung 34 on OU in Norman.
Tennessee should atleast get to 40 points against them in Neyland.
So once again, how do we know that they will OU will put up 40?
Well, as porous as our defense has been, we have only given up 40 points in one game and it took an OT TD for Georgia to get there. Kentucky is the only offense we have faced in SEC play that scores fewer points than Oklahoma and it is a night game in Neyland against an OL that has allowed 16 sacks in 8 games and a QB who has struggled passing the ball since his surgery. While I don't expect us to shut them down by any means, I could see us keeping them somewhere in the 20-30 point range. We have given up an average of 36 PPG in SEC play so maybe it is not 40 but it will be darn close.
The good news is we are averaging 42 PPG so I expect a win in a shootout. Bet the over!!!
If ND wins out, we beat Vandy ND will move up too….one spot above us
