Could you imagine the U, if 2 live crew, had NIL in their heyday! Also, I don't view Miami as an upgrade to Tennessee or Oregon.
I get why Cristobal wanted the Miami job, but being honest, it's much more difficult to win there than it was 20 years ago (and both Tennessee and Oregon are better jobs at this point). NIL is going to hurt them even more. Their facilities aren't great, fan support is lukewarm, administrative support is weak. Their big advantage is Miami talent and NIL is going to allow schools to more easily poach that talent. Miami is nice, but if you get paid $50k to go somewhere like Knoxville, Clemson, Athens, or Eugene, and you're an 18 year old kid from a poor neighborhood, you probably take it.
Already turned down Ole Miss OC job. Miami, why would he do that?
There is?!?...And where in Miami are these so called Russians because I have run into very few in the 32 years I have lived here.there are a lot of Russian's in the Miami area.
Hope he's not rushing to move there as that's a program that's changed coaches almost as much as us and without the level of Pruitt turmoil
Golesh rocks and The Rock is in The Scruffy City
If Golesh wants to be his own man and run his offense without much meddling he shouldn’t take the job with Cristobal. From what I’ve heard on various shows/podcasts is that Cristobal is very difficult to work with and really has hands all over the offense and likes to grind it out being the old Offensive lineman that he is . This seems to be a big reason why he’s had problems filling out his staff.
