Looks like we are 27th in the ap too. With an upset or two this week we will be ranked before we play Florida.

I like the latent Boise State effect. The media just can't get enough of them. It is like the media says "Yes, we dropped them from the rankings but we want to keep them just outside the 25 and hope that they have enough of a showing to write a bunch of stories about how the BCS isn't fair".

I'd prefer it if we stayed under the radar a bit more....easier for other teams to look past us before we beat 'em.

It's just not that important. Rankings later are what matter, mostly at the end of the season. Right now it just does not mean much.

YES! Exactly! 4 years wasn't long enough. We should pull the sheets up over our eyes, and leave a lamplight on!

I want to run the **** over everybody, with the freaking loud speakers on playing freaking Metallica wide freaking open!

I can think of 7-8 SEC teams that would fare better against Bammer than Michigan did, so there should be 7-8 SEC teams in the top 19 IMO, JMHO.

Disagree with the whole under the radar philosophy. UF hates us they won't be looking past us if we are ranked or not. Same with everyother SEC team we face. If we are flying under anyones radar its future recruits and that's not a good thing. Also I think the guys that are on the deserve to be ranked and rewarded for helping build this program back and maybe once they start to get a taste of sucess they will want some more!

I don't want teams to look past us. I want teams to come in fully prepared for us, play their best game, and we still win.

Nobody of note was going to look past us, whether we were ranked 27th or 23rd.

That actually looks a little closer to what the rankings should be. No way South Carolina should have stayed at 9 with a close win along with many other overrated teams.
