I know recruiting is a huge thing, but some make too big a deal of it. Whether we are 16th or 6th it really dont matter. The difference between the two is not big. If we were 60th I might be a little pissed. Top talent is still coming to Knoxville, so the bottom line is the coaches have to coach it up. I hate to be the guy who says this stuff, but I heard an interview with Brett Bielema (sp?) that really changed my thinking on the recruiting game. He mentioned that last years senior class was ranked very low (in the 60's or 80's) as a recruiting class. Those kids had them in top ten territory and Wisconsin had the most rookies in NFL training camps this year. All that from a class that was supposed to be garbage. He talked about getting kids that fit there system and program, then coaching them up. If Dooley and UT can bring in kids that fit the system and program, plus have talent, they should be able to coach those kids to championship levels. Look at what top 5 classes have gotten Texas and Florida State the last few years.
