Excellent read about Coach Pruitt, I like fact that everyone knows he wants to win above all. :dance2:

Not prepared to build statues for him yet, but like his under the radar, straight forward, hardworking mind set. I've got a feeling after all is said and done, he'll be the A+ hire of this class, and not some other "no brainers". Kudos for old OL coach, Fulmer, to recognize the tough minded direction needed, who has southern ties, and building staff primarily w/ guys who know the SEC. But, it's not all about Pruitt and staff. Fulmer running cover for him, UT traditions and facilities...an "all in" attitude has the potential to get us back to competing faster than people think.

I'm still not sold on this hire, but i really enjoyed reading this. It's nice to see somebody rise up in the coaching ranks like this to a head coaching level. Maybe God will throw us a bone this time.

My daughter is friends with the girl in the two a day video. Alex little girl. I spoke to him for a long time tonight. He said Pruitt peers coach and KNOWS his x and o s. Hates the hire cause he a bama fan. Said Tenn will be back under him. DoesnÂ’t accept missed tackles missed assignments or losing. Reminded me of the stories about pruitt spending nights in film room at hoover when he was single
I was against hire from beginning. He trying to change my mind

I think I understand the simple reason why Fulmer hired this guy. He's a pure football coach, dedicated to a sport he's loved his entire life. Our last coach always spoke in jargon. I don'tknow if he made all of it up or got it out of the latest books of the industry. But I am glad Pru does not do that. I think he is the real deal. I can be wrong. If I am, then I am not going to blame Fulmer. Aight.

This is where southern hospitality and southern boys don't matter. I don't care if he's a nice guy. I really don't. I just want him to win. Nice southern boy or yankee a$$hole I don't care, I just wanna see big orange holding up that NC trophy again. Quit with the heartstrings stories, doesn't matter at all. And it doesn't change expectations.

Didnt read the article..

But I assume it means he is a double secret Bama agent out to somehow make Tennessee even worse at football before usurping Saban at Bama?
