When you have an overrated O line that is actually really bad then a qb with wheels can absolutely help.

Y’all can play the blame game all night on the o line but it’s not going to change the truth. JG got away from moving in the pocket in the second half. Georgia played JG the same way everyone has by stacking the box and for 4 years now we’ve watched it work.

I guess Pruitt knowing JG can take a beating is why he was left in there. He didn’t want Shrout or Maurer to get injured.

JG was the top dual threat QB in the country in 2016...let that sink in.
I know....But we have Maurer and Shrout in hopes we get someone like these other bottom feeders seem to develop into super stars. Everybody is looking for the next Brady. It's funny how the star ratings don't work for QBs. It's because high schools have too many divisions now. More players look better than they are because the competition they are up against is diluted and sub-par. Back in the old days of 3 classes, the good players were in AAA and I don't remember us ever taking many from in state. Another place where the internet has made QB's too easy to find and evaluate without ever really seeing them in person. They make their own videos and of course make themselves look good. Too much information. A lot of intangibles with QBs. JG has always failed on the mental side. He doesn't have many ints. because he takes a lot of sacks and only throws to wide open receivers.

JG has no mobility and is slow. Walk on QB at UGA can at least run when there's pressure and make things happen. UGA blitzed a lot but JG made awful decisions and didn't protect the ball. Overall Vols played hard but we need a Mobile QB to put pressure on the defenses.
