8 million over 4 years was the rumor. Spyre apparently wants to be in the 25 million dollar range annually, so I think we're fine there.

Part of the deal negotiated was supposedly in good faith that he would follow through with his commitment. While it's possible he could back out, and keep some of that money, it certainly seems unlikely. Stuff like that tends to follow you around.

Nico seems pretty smart and elite QBs tend to keep their commitments as long as there isn't some big event like a coaching change or a school scandal.
