Vols Jack Daniels bottle?

I was at the Jack Daniels distillery a few months ago and learned that you can buy a whole barrel of JD. They take you in a room where there are little plaques of all the people and groups that have bought a whole barrel. Each bottle will have a metal hang tag with the groups name or saying or whatever they want on it.

So the thought crossed my mind today that it would be pretty cool to have a Vols personalized JD Single Barrel bottle. So I wanted to start this thread to see if there would be any intrest of something like this? Each barrel contains 240-250 bottles, so we would need to have that many spoken for. A lady that lives in my town is buying a barrel now for the Tennessee Squires Assoication and she told me that a high estimate is aound $50 per bottle. Which is about what a regular bottle of Single Barrel cost in the store.

I would do it. But I don't think there's a realistic way of actually getting this done.

I'm in, you would just have to take orders and then have everybody pre pay, when you get
enough people and money make the order, just include enough money for the shipping.
I think it would be a great gift also.

Btw, what's stopping you from collecting all this money and splitting? Is there a website that hosts pooling for something like this?

I'll hold the money...it's only $12,500

250X $50 bucks a bottle

with VN having 30,000+ members surely we can get 250 to buy a bottle of Jack
