Vols in the Super Bowl

Clearly since there are 2 starters on the Packers, Vols fans should, by default, go Green and Gold

but the Packers also have Charles Woodson. Go Steelers!

Let's be fair, the guy is still one of the best corners in the game. Saying he had no business winning the Heisman is a little outdated. Perhaps if we were looking at a Ron Dayne or an Eric Crouch you could be mad, but Woodson is still solid, even as a 34 year old cornerback (as a 33 year old CB, he was the defensive POY)

Expletives left my mouth when we drafted him. In front of God and all those present, I retract that outburst.

haha i thought AR was good at Cal. Good enough to go Number one to the 9ers.. I just didnt like Alex Smith for so many reasons, like He is terrible, he was coached by Urban, he went to UTAH..come on really? God works in really crazy ways, Aaron couldnt be on a better team...

Don't get me wrong, he was great. My issue was that I saw him being Matt Hasselbeck, 2.0. He was going to be a Packer, he was never going to see the field because Favre was #1, he was going to get plenty of schooling, then become a starter somewhere else.

Thank God that didn't happen.

i think what did happen was he learned all of the Right things from Bret Favre. Only Time will tell if he learned the bad things (learning how to walk away from the Game when its time) from him too.. But AR has a long way to go before that happens.. I will enjoy seeing Aaron's swagger on Sundays, and most def on Super Bowl Sunday.

I could be wrong and I don't feel like wasting the time to look it up but I'm pretty sure Champ Bailey had more tackles and Ints than Woodson that year and he played some offense too just like woodson. So yeah I do think the guy had no business winning the heisman but thats JMO and we all have one.

One thing Champ Bailey didn't have was an undefeated team headed to the national championship and ridiculous return stats.

Harrell is one of my all-time favorites. He tore his bicep and then played the next week just because we were playing FL. While the outcome was less than desirable, I appreciate the way he gave his all for TN!!!!

Looking at the rosters of both teams, Tennessee has the more players in the Super Bowl than any other college program. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Edit: We're tied with five. I can't count; guess I fit in with Tennessee >.>

The Heisman doesn't go to the player with the greatest stats. It goes to the best college football player. QBs were just too dumb to throw it to Bailey's side of the field. That doesn't make him a better player, it just means the offensive playcallers should have reconsidered their schemes.
