Vols in the NFL Combine thread

It was my understanding that the QB's, TE's,& WR's worked out on Saturday. The RB's & OL worked out today. How does this stuff work then with the WR's doing bench press today when they're scheduled for tomorrow? The LB's & DL are scheduled for Sunday & DB's on Monday. What am I missing about this scheduling?

Each of the position groups had 3 days of activities scheduled including the interviews, medical, measurements, bench press and on-field workouts...The on-field workouts (their day 3) is what's televised. So tomorrow will be day 3 for the WRS,QB and TE...OL and RB's finished Friday. The last group will do their day 2 off camera stuff on Saturday and on-field workouts on Sunday.

At my HS on picture day they gave you a form to fill out your own profile. I would look at the weights and heights in the game program and shake my head at some of the measurable numbers my friends listed.

Ha! I did the same lol. I said I was 6 foot and 185 lbs. When I was really 5 9 and about 170

Good for him.

Saw the Early Bust report included the OT from Arky that declared.

Elliot from OSU monster numbers at 225 sub 4.5

I thought North was supposed to be lucky to crack 5 seconds?

It's funny how people retroactively decided that North was slow after he chose to leave. 4.5 is pretty much exactly how fast he looked when healthy. Dude is incredibly talented and was totally wasted here.

So North finishes a very respectable 4.49 and tied for 9th fastest WR with Sterling Shepard. Not too shabby. Middle round is still my guess.

North having a good combine thus far. Top 10 in 40 yard dash and bench press. He definitely has the physical tools.

He made a good decision coming out. This WR class is terrible. Everyone is talking about how slow they are. Lots of guys running 4.6 and 4.7.

North has a great chance to be drafted. Possibily as high as the 4th round.

I'm afraid I was spot on with North's 40 time there buddy. :) Wasn't let down too much! :p

It was really just an educated guess. I knew if North was healthy going into the Combine he could get under 4.50 & that he did.

Holler back at us after Maggitt runs his 40....he ain't sniffing 4.58 IMO.

Disagree. I think he will be 4.8

What point is he at in his recovery?

I remember Leonard little talking about maggitt his freshman year and he said he had been just a little faster than Maggitt when he was at UT. So what's Leonard's 40?
