I am absolutely excited to see my 1st game of the season and to see family. Very proud of this team and very proud to be all vol.

Disappointed in this choice but at least we are in a bowl. Liberty would have been a much better choice for obvious reasons and West Virginia would of been a higher quality opponent.

Easier opponent in Iowa however. I want Tennessee to get a Bowl win even if it is over a lesser opponent.

That's just corporate branding. Was previously known as the Gator Bowl.

Don't get me wrong I'm glad we got a good bowl game but I'm a little disappointed bc it's out of state. I guess the bowl committee knew how good our fanbase is and how ecstatic we are to make a bowl. I guess I was hoping for an outside shot of UT playing Penn State in the Music City Bowl. I know I know not very likely but the storyline would've been great!

I'm sure the players are excited to get out of state, and that's what really matters to me. A paid vacation to FL, and lots of swag. Great for them. :thumbsup:

Not ecstatic about this from a selfish standpoint, because not very feasible to make 8 hour drive when I have to be in Knoxville the day before and after. For the program, this is nice/better.

ESPN originally had Auburn or LSU.

I think these bowls realize the potential for the city vs the game sales, because nobody got a bowl in their state. We do travel well but I don't think that's the motivation behind these picks. It's all about the money spent in hotel/restaurants in their cities.
