Nice to see all the hard work pay off for the Vols! The extra long practice time they will get for the January 2nd Gator Bowl will do wonders for the 2015 Vols.

I live in Shreveport so I'm a little bummed.

GBO all they way though the Gator is a more prestigious bowl than the Independence Bowl anyways. I'm very excited for the players and coaches of team 118!!

are you serious? We should be ecstatic. a 6-6 TN team beat out TX AM, GA, LSU for this one. There is a lot of power in the TN brand. Rumors were bidding war for TN this afternoon. Earlier, we were a liberty lock.

I said it earlier, SEC getting 2 teams in the top 4 New Year Bowls opened this up for TN.

I took a gamble and bought a pair on the west sideline. I had been watching for 2 hours waiting on the announcement, so I jumped on some from Stubhub that are lower level near the 50. They weren't cheap, but I felt the price was fair.

I was able to google around and it looked like the SEC teams have sat on the west sideline in the past.

Website has crashed and burned. You would think they would have enough foresight to have IT staff available on a Sunday due to the announcement.

Disappointed in this choice but at least we are in a bowl. Liberty would have been a much better choice for obvious reasons and West Virginia would of been a higher quality opponent.

Hey, So I checked the Hawk Eyes website and found this information:

"Iowa has been assigned sections 130, 131, 134, 135, 139, 142, 143, 229, 230, 231, 232, 233, 234, 235, 240, 241, 242, and 243."
