...and didn't the Cleveland Browns will a ton of championships in the 50's with Otto Graham? How about John Wooden's UCLA's teams, didn't they win like 10 titles or so? Not professional sports, but probably one of the greatest dynasties.

And Pat Summitt has a pretty good run. Patterson didn’t get a lot done for the Patriots. Maybe playing indoors will help him out. With the two marquee backs the Rams have, Will Kelly get in the game?

You said greatest dynasty in the history of professional sports. You did not say there had to be parameters set such as a certain amount of teams in each league.
Yep,some have said it's the greatest but some also have mentioned what we did of previous teams that can claim greatest ever.
Hey, you're a Pat's fan and you think that. That's fine. Just some of us can think they are not the greatest ever and that's fine also.

No need to wonder MightyVol . It’s always about the money. NFL is a for profit business. Those ref’s work for the NFL. Not even a backyard ref would have missed that. As I’ve said before, just like pro wrestling, everybody sees it except the referee. NFL is rotten to its core. Players can play their hearts out but crooked refs determine final scores.

No one with a shred of intelligence or honesty would try to argue that titles won in an eight-team league equal titles won in a 32-team league; but you're counting on anyone who reads this thread not reading my post that picked your argument apart. You are 100% correct that everyone is entitled to his own opinion; I never said otherwise. I'm not the poster who started the ad hominem crap accusing me of being a liar (I recognize that that was not you, and am not blaming you for such).

To use the term, "parameters" distorts the discussion by implying I had found minutiae by which to reduce the argument to semantics. Pointing out that all of the teams other posters referenced as dynasties superior to the Patriots, won most of their titles when the leagues they were in were still in the inchoate stages is not semantics; it is basic common sense, and simple intellectual honesty. To say that a title won in a league of eight teams is the same level of accomplishment as a title won in a league of thirty-two teams is not an expression of opinion, but rather a willful rejection of the truth; it is no more valid than UCF's anointing themselves national champions a year ago because they won all their games playing inferior competition.

I already proved you're the liar, and yet you persist, as though saying something enough times makes it true. You don't bother trying to counter anything I have written that disproved your argument, because you know you can't; you know as well as anyone that a title in an eight-team league is not the same as one in a thirty-two-team league. As long as Brady and or Bellichek are in a SB or any game for that matter, this Vol fan cannot come close to watching them, unless the Pack is back playing against them. Looking forward to watching Super Bowls again in the not so distant future. Someone knock Brady's arm off, please!

Unfortunately, I think you are right. I haven't watched the NFL in years but we had friends over and they want to watch the game. I wouldn't waste my time watching it now for sure. I honestly think the refs were part of ensuring a Ram victory. I know one thing being from Louisiana, they will not forget and I'd advise three refs in particular to definitely not visit south Louisiana for the foreseeable future!

But that is setting parameters because those teams could not help how many teams were in the leagues at the time. Also,they are recognized by their respective leagues as champions so it does count.
I will say the Pat's are one of the best but best ever is subjective. Anyway,you have a great day I'm done.

It’s basketball season. Football is done for the year outside of the exhibition game that will take place in 10 days that most don’t care about. Whew Vols managed to pull out the win at Vandy.

I have little interest in watching the NFL. The salaries that they earn are not enough for some of the prima Donna's.
In 2 year's, there will be another Collective Bargaining Agreement and the players have stated that they want to be able to buy stocks in each team. This will give players, not 51% of the team but a significant part of each team.
Then they can attempt to force sais owner to sell & get an owner who will be more agreeable with the players wishes
Once the players own the teams, it will be a mad house
