VOLS in other cities besides Knoxville

I live in Sarasota, Fl. Lots of VOLS here. I went to an Orioles spring training game the other night, walked into the souvenir shop and saw a lady with a VOLS sweatshirt tied around her waist. I told her I loved her sweatshirt. She proceeded to tell me she had an autographed football of CBJ... her son lives in Knoxville and has connections she said...

My parents and grandparents live down that way

My sister lives an hour north in salisbury NC...her son will likely be in the POTS after this years HS graduation. GBO

Fairhope, Alabama for the last 12 years, but originally from Skullbone, Tennessee. Lots of Vols in Fairhope and on the Gulf Coast.

I'm from pineville, about 30 minutes from Corbin around Cumberland gap.

I'm familiar. Wife and I grew up in Cumberland Gap. So we spent a lot of time in middelsboro. And I have a lot of family in Hazard:

Cities and other places in which I've flown the Volunteer flag / bumper sticker / license plates / power T magnet / etc., over the past 30 years:

West Point, New York
Fort Benning, Georgia
Alexandria, Virginia
Washington, DC
Bamberg, Germany
Fort Bragg, North Carolina
San Lorenzo, Honduras
Port au Prince, Haiti
Wilmington, North Carolina
Compiegne, France
Bloomington, Indiana
Monterey, California
Fort Monroe, Virginia
Leavenworth, Kansas (not the penitentiary, just visiting for a year!)
Carlisle, Pennsylvania
Tampa, Florida
Iraq, Afghanistan, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, and a few other garden spots I probably forgot in between

Out of all of them, I ran into the most fellow Vols in Germany. Go figure. :)

Thank you for your Service...:good!::hi:

How do you not he hasn't spent all that time in the Middle East because he's actually a terrorist? That's what my money is on.

Why else would he live around all these army bases and visit the holy land so often? Dudes a jihadist all day!

I'm in Austin, Tx. It's really cool when the Lady Vols come to town to play the Lady Longhorns every other year. I visit with tons of Vol fans from all over Texas. It's nice to see the right color of orange for a change.

Yea, middlesboro was the place to go, there was nowhere else. How long you been gone? There's a tunnel now from Tennessee into ky.

I left in 08 so I'm familiar with the tunnel. I'm honestly not old enough to remeber the old road.

Born and raised in blount county. Now live in Alabama. I'm the crazy vol fan always wearing my orange. I hate Bamer, and they hate me

Haha, it's curious that lists showing the haunts of enemies could read as if they were twins. I never thought about that before, thanks for it.
