I'm in columbus and around NW area as well. There are plenty of ohio Vols that come to this board.

I'm also in Columbus, OH. Haven't found a good Vol Alumni bar yet, but I keep trying to convert them!

I live in Columbus, OH...have for about 5 years now. There is a small alumni association that, last year at least, would get together at a bar called Average Joes right off of Sawmill Road in NW Columbus. This place is also a HUGE gator fan hangout when they have big games as well.

On the way back from Zanesville over the weekend, the wife and I passed a white SUV that had a big Power T on the back window, and the license plate said "OhioVol". That happen to be any of your guys???

I live in Columbus but just graduated so I don't know how long I'll be here. It all depends on when, if, or where I get a job.

I'm in Newark (about 35 minutes east of Columbus), and can't stand the sea of Scarlet and Gray. Most obnoxious/arogant fan base I've ever seen, most consist of people who haven't the slightest idea of what football even is. It's ridiculous. They honestly think they'd dominate SEC competition on a weekly basis. I guess the 0-10 against the SEC in lost on them somehow. I have a lot of fun making fun of the stupid nut fans I work with, currently I have the Columbus Dispatch issues of the LSU loss and Texas loss from last year hanging over my workspace - that goes over so well! Glad to see there's other Big Orange fans in this state.

I am from west central ohio and have the utmost hate for everything scarlet and grey. Actually I watch more OSU games than UT games, but thats just me rooting for whoever osu plays. Glad to see some orange bloods running around this state.

GO VOLS

Ohio State is only 0-10 against the SEC in bowl games, sadly for yall they have a winning record against SEC teams in reg season games (7-2) so technically they are 7-12 overall against the SEC

Y'all watch out for OE!!!

Old English? Nasty.

Anyway....... I used to live in Eastern and Southeastern Ohio. Not many vol fans there, but I did meet some at Ohio University.

Oh, and OSU fans are stupid. Period.

Well, I'm not an alum but I hail from the backyard of Neyland stadium. I grew up in Powell but the Air Force has brought me to Dayton, Ohio. Yes, there are a few Vol fans around but this is home to the Dayton Flyers but don't let that fool ya, this is still Buckeye country. But I represent by flying my Power T flag every weekend. :)

Glad to find someone else from Dayton. Thanks for your service to the country and at Wright Patt. You're stuck in Northmont territory, home of the track coaches that sleep with 17 year olds. I'm down here in Centerville. Go Flyers and Go Vols!

I'm also originally (and for the time being, also currently) from Dayton as well. Beavercreek to be exact. Also, to the original poster, yeah, NW Ohio gets mired in the big schools, especially UM and TOSU, but thankfully BG and Toledo get some press in the area too. I run into and/or see some Vol fans and Power T's every now and then, but as for any kind of places where Tennessee fans gather... you're probably pretty much on your own. Just as I'm sure I will be once I move down to Knoxville next summer when I want to watch one of the rare televised BG games.

I'm also in central Ohio.

Screw Ohio State and everything about it.

Some of my best friends are big osu fans... But I thank God that I never became one. Is it just me or do they seem to be a bit more obnoxious and have more of a holier than thou attitude about being buckeye fans than most other schools?

(In general, that is. Some people are perfectly normal Ohio State supporters, and I'm happy to let them be. It just seems that osu has a greater annoying fan to normal fan ratio than other schools.)

You know the joke going around. Do you know why OSU and pot are alike? They both get smoked in bowls.
