It is funny because most people have that perception of Frank. But he laughed and smiled a lot in private. He just put on that face when games started.

You know him far better than I do, and I agree on his off field demeanor. I found him personable when we spoke and we both liked cracking on a mutual friend.

I’ll miss seeing him bundled up in the dugout with the hood on his pullover pulled tight.
