Thank you! He has really had a great spring on the mound. His last outing was Wednesday. He and a couple other guys also had the opportunity to be in the MLB bullpen for three games this spring. He didn’t get in the games but learned a lot through the experience of being there with those guys. He has mainly been pitching with the High A Bowling Green team this spring but not sure if that means anything going forward. He actually gets his assignment tomorrow and leaves spring training on Sunday.

Based on feedback, they seem to really like where he is and his results so far. I cant say enough about the Rays organization and the detailed and meticulous development of their pitchers. It has been tremendous. We are just blessed that he has the opportunity, and he is loving it!

A friend I sit with at Tennessee games will be wearing orange next week when he sees Hickory host the Hot Rods. He hopes to see Sean pitch.

When you get your velocity to tick upward while continuing to pile up strikeouts ahead of your professional debut, the story behind the nickname “Cheese” begins to gain clarity. Right-hander Chad Dallas -- nicknamed Cheese -- enjoyed having a top shelf fastball in his arsenal en route to delivering five hitless innings in his first career start for High-A Vancouver.
Selected in the fourth round of the 2021 MLB Draft out of the University of Tennessee, Dallas acclimated to the pro game seamlessly, compiling eight strikeouts with just one walk. Toronto’s No. 22 prospect threw 68 pitches (45 strikes), while retiring the final 15 batters he faced after issuing a leadoff walk. -- Jesse Borek

Sean was called up to AA Montgomery Biscuits last night while in Hickory…they flew him out this morning. Not sure if it is to fill a short term need or if it is more permanent. Either way, he is looking forward to the opportunity. #GBO!

Coincidentally, looks like the Biscuits are now hosting the Smokies and the two teams play here in Mid-May
