NOW IT'S TIME FOR THE VOLS TO CLAIM OUR PART OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA !!!
Announcing, the coming of the "POWER T " license plates!
I'm sure you've been stuck in traffic and noticed that little red and black bulldog face on the license plate in front of you. Or maybe the black and gold GT (that stings!). Over the past few months, you've probably even noticed a few burnt orange and navy AU logos, as well. Well, now we will be able to officially establish the "Vol Nation" here in Georgia with the BIG ORANGE " POWER T " on your license plate! Our time has come!

This is your chance to become a charter member of the University of Tennessee " POWER T " license plate program. The UT National Alumni Association - Atlanta Chapter has agreed to handle all up front responsibilities for the first 1,000 applicants. After we reach this goal of 1,000 applicants, UT fans will need to individually apply through the Department of Motor Vehicles to receive their plates. However, we will do our best to accommodate additional applicants for a short period of time.

Follow the link to the Atlanta Alumni site for details

So they don't have any Tennessee tags in Georgia? When i got my TN tag, here in Chattanooga, they had about every sporting team you could think of.

Good luck with that, I'd love to drive though GA and see the Power T on their plates.

We still don't have any UT tags in Virginia either. It's ridiculous considering that there are schools such as Florida State and Wake Forest, but no Tennessee.

They've been trying to get 1,000 people to sign on and pay up front for these tags for a long time.

It was going on the whole 2 years i lived in Atlanta.

Good luck guys.

Chattanooga has a mixture of Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Florida, and South Carolina fans. It's an SEC melting pot.

Don't know about Georgia, but here in Alabama you can't get out of state schools on the plates. Wish I could get a big Power T plate, but on the other side I commend bama for not selling out to other states. I know it made me sick when I first saw a Tennessee license plate with Alabama on it.

This is a know the second try to get this done. A lot of us paid money the first time and nothing came of it. They said they did not get enough people. At that time it was only 500....I'd love to have one and the word needs to be put out through the university to all the alumni who live in Georgia. After all not everyone is on Volnation.

I don't commend Alabama for it. I live in Decatur and work on Redstone and there are a lot of Tennessee fans stuck living in this sorry state, especially around Huntsville that would love to have UT plates.

Wish Alabama let us get UT plates, but also wish Tennessee didn't let people get Alabama or Florida plates is what I was really getting at.
