Vols in film room Sunday after Florida loss

You do realize that sundays are their only days off, right? 5 days they have class and practice. Saturday’s they have football games and not even including time they need for studying. Not going to do us much good if they are failing classes. I get they need to watch film, but to ask them to go 7 days a week 24 hours a day is too much.

That no flag on the blatant hold on the florida touchdown was a killer. No it might not have affected the end result, but plays like that are game turners. And I seen the hold in live action plain as day, that was a big time hold. We also got mugged by the corners on a few plays, Callaway got mugged all the way down the sideline one play. Like someone else said, we have to let the refs no when that happens. You can't dwell on it but you dang well complain about it. Both of them calls happened and were in plain sight, they should not have been missed. I am sure at some point we may have gotten away with something but no doubt florida was got away with much more. I just wished the refs would have done a better job, it was not a well officiated game. At least it didn't impact on who would have won, our turnovers did us in there no matter what. We have to continue to improve in all areas and be more consistent in all phases of the game. GBO!

SEC refs have sucked for a long long time. It’s awful!

Yeah, this should have been going on since week 1. But it wasn't happening because of Butch's stench still on the team, and the unfortunate fact is that it is taking time to wash that stench off. And I think many of us knew that it would not happen overnight, and most likely not even fully during the first season under Pruitt. But things like this are happening now, and that is better than it not happening at all. Ideal? No. Encouraging? A little.

Maybe some are jumping up and down giving pats on the back; I am not of that camp. Like I said in post#1, this is a just a *glimmer* of better habits hopefully to come that gets us back to where we need to be.

If some people think posts like post#1 are stupid repetitive chit, well that's OK too. I get it. As a lifelong diehard UT fan for decades like most people on here, info like this helps me see the Vols football future with a little more hope, no matter how many times we have been burned in the last decade.
Well said and exactly how I feel also.

excellent step to getting better and enhancing team unity...possibly, they all should get into their respective position groups and do the same thing...lots to be learned and corrected...good on the boys...and,

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently Florida players and coaches know a lot more about the fine details of the rules. They were able to block WR routes, hold, interfere all night and never get called. And holding on the O and D lines without it being a foul.
It happens when you are one of the worst teams in the SEC, you get the worst officiating crew. Mullin used that knowledge to Florida's advantage. They were doing the Tennessee Waltz all night long. Some of the ones on our receivers were right in front of the referee and was so obvious Stevie Wonder could have seen it. Until we prove we can beat someone in this league and climb out of the East cellar, we are probably going to be stuck with those buffons in stripes calling our games.

You lost by 4 touchdowns. Move on from the excuses and try not to let Georgia beat you by 4 TD’s.
6 turn overs killed the Vols. I just watched the game again sober, the Vols Defense played pretty good but was put in some bad situations.

Y’all gotta stop drinking the Vandy juice. People jump on their sack every year after they play a close game or two. They suck, it’ll show up that they suck. Easy win for UF.

Is your life truly so miserable and void of anything better to do than talk s*** on a team board to a team you just beat? A bad team might I add. Seriously, I don't mind most of the gator posters on here, some are even pretty good contributors, but you're nothing more than an antagonistic, trash talking, worthless contributor on this board, and honestly I don't know what your end game is other than trolling or just being a miserable pri**. Seriously. We get it. You won. Go pat yourselves on the back for kicking us while we're down. I hope you never win a game again. Oh, and as others have said, stfu.

The film they were watching was probably the KY game to figure out how to run the ball.

Actually, you’re right. I think Florida could have easily won that game by a ridiculous margin, like 40+. As it was, it’s the most points ever scored by a Florida team in Neyland. This isn’t the game to defend, Florida beat the hell out of Tennessee and it should have been worse.
