i could be very wrong.. but i think meach will be no better thana 4.4.... possibly less. i dont see anyway he makes it to 4.3 i dont think he's THAT fast... example... south carolina game when we threw the fade late in the game and he caught it 7 yards ahead of the pack and got ran down...

Scott Wright of NFLDraftCountdown.com wrote this in his senior bowl blog:

As I mentioned a couple days ago Athletes' Performance is one of the premier pre-draft training facilities in the country and it shows every year when they prep a handful of 1st round pick, including seven last year alone. Their current class is their best ever though according to Percy Knox, their Director of Athlete Management in Arizona......

......At wide receiver they have Dwayne Bowe, Sidney Rice, Dwayne Jarrett and Robert Meachem to name a few. Knox said Meachem can fly and that 4.3's are a definite possibility while Bowe and Rice are about equal in terms of speed with Jarrett just a step behind them right now.

He was still in the rotation every now and then I guess, but his playing time decreased substantially when Haynesworth returned.

Yes his playing time decreased when Haynesworth came back. We also unearthed a semi-gem off the waiver wire in Tony Brown as a rotational player and the starter Robaire Smith got over his hamstring problems. Alot of stuff went into Jesse being buried on the depth chart. I also thought he looked a little overweight.

Yep, like I said, he played out of necessity early in the year... apparently he wasn't even in the rotation the last month and a half of the season.

According to Mel Kiper's mock draft he has Meachem at 25 to the jets, Sears at 31 to the bears and Harrell at 32 to the colts. that would be 3 in the 1st round
