Vols Hotel In Memphis...

Hey guys new poster here,
I've been lurking for a while. I am a 96 grad of UT, and will be taking my 6 year old son to the game this weekend. He's getting to be a huge UT fan, and was asking me if he would be able to meet some of the players at the game. This will be the kids first Vol away game. We live in Jackson and will be headed to Memphis Friday morning. I was going to see if anyone knew if the team would be staying at either the Westin, Peabody, or another hotel downtown Memphis. I told him we may try and get some autographs the day before the game, if the team was coming in then. I'm not real familiar with a teams travel schedule, but just thought someone on here may know.

Please help out if you can.

I would guess the Westin more than likely. Right across the street from the forum and thats honestky the main reason it was built, to house visiting NBA and college teams that can afford it. Extremely nice place too.

Tell your son to never forget this game, it will be one of the best he will ever see.

That's what I was thinking. I know that the Dallas Mavericks will be in town Friday night to play the Grizzlies, and they will stay at the Westin. Also I heard from a buddy of mine from Memphis that the Tigers usually stay either at the Westin or at the Peabody. If anyone finds anything out just shoot me a PM or respond. My son won't quit worrying me up about is it game time yet...haha

Thanks guys yeah we're looking forward to it. I just hope the youngun can get some autographs maybe the day before. Just gotta find where the Vols are staying. I know they won't mind signing for a 6 year old. I figure it'd be better the day before since the day of the game the guys will be focused. Maybe if someone knows where they are they can shoot me a PM sometime this week.
