Saw the comment on Twitter that "it's easy to hear John Ward's influence in Mike Keith's calls". I find myself agreeing with that. It's not exactly like having the GOAT back, but it's certainly as close as we're going to get.

I listened to the first few series in the car. First time I've listened to MK except for highlights and without video. It was not very easy to know exactly what was happening without the ability to watch the action. I've listened to dozens of games in my life while sitting in a deer stand and never had that issue. Just my critique that he doesn't seem to be a true radio-only guy

After early part of game, had to mute TV and sync up w/ Mike Keith ...he's so awesome.
For some part of the game, I did not have the radio show synced with the tv. When we got two sacks back to back, I was able to turn up the radio for the live sack call. It was awesome!

I was a tick ahead on radio, and when he yelled "SACK!", it scared the hell out of me, and then I also get a half second of joy, knowing what's coming! Love that dude.

Not even comparing to the great John Ward, but, I'd argue that Mike and Ramone are more "homer-fans" than Ward or certainly Kessling...kind of like UGA and Bama's guys. I could see this crew "hob-nail-booting" some team in the future...where in the past, would never happen.
