Sadly, it was probably his screen pass for a TD against UGA in 2001. On second thought, I'd give it to any of his runs in the Florida game of 2001. He probably set a UT record for broken tackled that night.

Cedric Houston

His 74-yard run on the second play from scrimmage against #1 Miami in 2002...he was so close to taking it to the house, and Neyland was rocking. But, we couldn't poke it in from a few yards out, and we had to settle for a 21-yard field goal. We never scored again...a miserable day in Neyland.

Probably one of the 85,000 late hits he's had against a QB. As for Cedric, he was out of the game after that big run. Jabari Davis, the master of getting tackled at the line of scrimmage, was the guy that couldn't get us the TD.

Yeah, in that game the touchdown would have been really important. It would have changed the score from 26-3 to 26-7.

Yeah, in that game the touchdown would have been really important. It would have changed the score from 30-3 to 30-7.

Obviously, it wouldn't have mattered. However, it's just another example of the lack of killer instinct that hurt the Vols in recent years. I can't remember how many short yardage situations were squandered by Jabari Davis getting stuffed at the line. I remember it happened in 2004 and almost resulted in us losing to UK.

I know...Cedric was winded, and understandably so...so, in comes big Jabari...3 plays later, it's the Alex Walls show...unbelievable.

As for Haynesworth, the play that sticks out to me was against South Carolina in Knoxville back in 2001. Early in the 4th quarter, with SC at our 1 yard line...Big Al stood Andrew Pinnock straight up and stopped him on 3rd down and forced a SC field goal...that fg tied the game, but it kept SC from taking the lead, in a hard fought, close football game.

We wouldn't have won the game...there's no doubt about that...but I think those 3 consecutive stops, after giving up a 74-yard run, sent a message about that Miami defense. Holding UT to a field goal on that drive took the energy out of that stadium in a hurry...and the momentum was Miami's for the rest of the day.

"Nothing else besides what he did to Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl."

You need to do a little home work. He still holds the vols single game record for rushing yards in a game.
