We're receiving a better deal than Alabama, which has a $30 million deal with Nike over 8 years. This includes the cash payment that Nike pays out. We're getting $1 million per year for the first 4 years, with $900,000 per year after that. By comparison, Alabama is receiving a cash payment of $750,000 per year.
Actually, we're even receiving a better deal than Oregon, who is getting $22.7 million over 8 years. They're getting a cash payout of $500,000 per year.

I believe Adidas was offering $1.1 million per year, according to the VQ article, but UT officials said that the Nike deal was more comprehensive in terms of the overall product and marketing, among other things.
