I have friends all over the country that have sons that are future big time prospects. One just committed to Ohio State as a freshman. He is a highly ranked qb, his dad told me last year when they visited UT.."He will never come here unless they switch to NIKE." You would be surprised at how many times I have heard this in the last 3 years. It doesn't matter what us old guys like, we are targeting teenagers.I know 1 2014 UTcommit that has used NIKE's all his life and is glad UT changed.
have a link link to any of those claims?
Cool, I know a bunch of recruits that like Adidas. Now what? There is no link, just telling you the conversations I have had personally with kids and parents. Like I said, we are tageting teenagers. I know my son loves UT no matter what they wear, but I also know he prefers NIKE over any other brand. Marshall County is a NIKE school. That's what we all wear. I am not agreeing with the kids, it is just how it is.If you need to puke go ahead.
DP do you know any details to the deal yet, or are ya still learning? I just hope this doesn't end up biting us in the rearend in the long run, and us having to settle with what Nike gives us instead of having a say in uni designs.
