Maybe you are buying the wrong Nike stuff? I have a few Nike things of my own and my work shoes are the most comfortable shoes I own.

Maybe, I don't want to pay an arm and a leg to find out. There are better companies out there.

Difference in quality is negligible. I personally like more Nike apparel but that's just me. What I'm really concerned about is 1. The money we are getting in this deal. Did we take less to switch? 2. Will we be able to choose what we wear and how it looks? That's is the most important thing to me.

Disclaimer: I'm 23 and prefer our classic, no frills look that Adidas allows us to wear.

Do you guys remember when Nike could make TN apparel and did? I have 2-3 UT Nike shirts and I like them better. The neckline doesn't expand and it fits better. I actually like this move. And that little nike swoosh makes a difference in recruiting. Especially in basketball.

I really liked our Adidas gear. However, as stupid as this sounds, recruits these days care about what brand is on that uniform. Nike is king. Recruits like Josh Selby still exist.

I have friends all over the country that have sons that are future big time prospects. One just committed to Ohio State as a freshman. He is a highly ranked qb, his dad told me last year when they visited UT.."He will never come here unless they switch to NIKE." You would be surprised at how many times I have heard this in the last 3 years. It doesn't matter what us old guys like, we are targeting teenagers.I know 1 2014 UTcommit that has used NIKE's all his life and is glad UT changed.
