VOLS: "Full scale 5 alarm dumpster fire"

About to win the east.
3 straight years to be bowl eligible for the first time in a decade.
If you thought we were going from 0 to a national championship in 3 years you're delusional.

Don't forget in the toughest conference with our permanent cross divisional rival being Bama. TN just needs to keep winning.

Florida won't lose to usc. Lsu, maybe. They destroy usc.

Lol. Florida's offense sucks. Didn't even score an offensive touchdown yesterday against an Arkansas team that had just given up 59 points to Auburn. They may lose out.

Except MSU, PSU, TCU are all much better than SC.

Is it possible? Sure. Likely? No.

MSU beat USC head to head, so maybe you're right.

They also lost to USA and struggled w/ UMASS (as did USC) and Samford, so maybe not.

I think they're about equal....MSU just beat TAMU convincingly. Our VOLS laid an egg and got edged due to poor discipline, play....due partly to coaching.

Little Giants....just one time.

I'm afraid even this recently rejuvenated USc team won’t take Florida in their own house. Maybe, but unlikely; @ LSU however, with a very tough Tiger team playing for their coach and the Din of Death Valley, I think the swamp lizards go down in the first of successive defeats. Still, I’m not counting on Kentucky, Missouri or Vanderbilt being cakewalks, but win out and the SECC game is certainly still possible, even probable. But is that the best thing for our program? Meeting up with Alabama again is not likely to result in a win; it would be great, but… Would it not be better for recruiting and a bowl game placement to win out, but miss the SECC? (I know I hate the gators, but Alabama would humiliate them, and again, like last year, post season for them would suck). We would end the season on a streak, play a better bowl and give recruiting a boost going out, leading to a positive spring. Just a thought.
Still, I’d rather get another chance at Bama, and win! Go Vols.

I understand that thinking, but IMHO we need to end the SECCG drought, even if it ultimately means another [blowout] loss to 'Bama.

Regardless of how we got there, we need to be able to legitimately tell recruits that we are going to compete for championships. It's hard to say that when you haven't even won the East in nearly a decade.

I agree with with ESPN, he has clearly proven he doesn't belong in the SEC however... they could easily be 1-7 is a ridiculous statement. We kicked the sh*t out of Florida and Va Tech.
