I never thought I would see the day that I could laugh at the situation TN football has gotten to. Yes, we need a change but those changes can only come through a consertive effort of all fans to join together as one to state this. Not going to the games would seem like the logical thing to do, but really the university already has their money. Try this, after this year don't renew your season tickets and don't purchase any tickets from the brokers. This protest is against the coaching staff, not the players, so please don't boo the players. I ask all the Vol nation if you go the Northern Illinois game to wear black in protest against the coaching staff and for a change. Our voice will be heard if we stand as one. Tennessee football deserves better than this. To the future of the Vols!

Black is a sign of mourning. I think that has a good symbolic meaning, but hey wear the bags too. The biggest way to make a statement to this university is to cut off the cash flow. The more ways we find in this way to make a noise will be the better.

I have an idea get everybody to BOYCOTT goin to any home games until a change is made, that would be a HUGE embarrassment to the program!

I know a lot of people are against the idea of not going to the games because w should be supportive of the players. In fairness, I would agree to an extent that I don't want any arrows to be shot their way, but there is no pretty way to get change in this football program. The fans need a voice and not just sports talk radio, seriously, you think the coaches are listening. The only voice we have in the presence of this staff and administration is at the games and there will be innocent people that will get hurt along the way. They say do don't boo the players and I agree, but how are we to let the players know we are not booing them. Is there certain time slots that we should choose or maybe we can hold up black poster boards as we boo the staff so they will definitely know its for them. We as the Vol Nation are fed up and we will let our voice be heard. The loudest voice is probably the one that isn't there. BOOOO!! Hey, I feel better.

This is true, however the University makes lots and lots of money off concessions as well. For those going to the game, if you can stand it at all, try boycotting the concessions. This will definitely make a difference. Just imagine if they sell only 100 less cokes at $3.50 a pop, that is $350.

Plus, look at the money you will be saving.:)

Money talks at UT. That is for sure. They will hear that long before any boo's.

Oops, wrong thread, I was going to say write in Larry the cable guy for president, that would be a big change!!

If I find anyone with a bag over their head, I'm kicking their ass.

Now that's the spirit!!!!:good!:

Can't do it. Guess I don't love 'em enough. Not strong enough. Not going into that stadium Saturday wearing black. Not sitting in the stands behind those boys playing with a bag over my head. Gonna go in wearing my orange, gonna clap and hollar when they take the field. Gonna cheer and yell when they make good plays. And gonna groan when it's bad.

I'll have to figure out some other way to let the admin know I'm not happy. Cause I imagine they don't already know that fans are disgusted with how this season is going.

Hey, thats even a better idea. Let kick each other butts the whole game, that will definitely get their attention. Thanks for your input!:clapping:
