didn't see that one coming. i'm not sure i like scheduling these kind of teams

edit: just looked at the article and found out that wku just joined the sun belt recently.

I didn't know WKU had moved up to the top level either, but if they have, they're OK as a schedule-stuffer. I don't want us putting 1-AA teams on the schedule just because we can play 12 every year. We'll leave the Western Carolinas to Alabama to play.

Yeah thats a D1-A ball club now or what Football Championship League or whatever they changed it to to make it as confusing as possible.

I knew a young man who played for WKU on championship team. He said CPF and WKU coaches were very close, constantly callingback and forth on cell phones, and he thought it very possible UT and WKU would get a game with each other at some time. According to him, in the past they could not get a date that worked. WKU plays a pretty good brand of football.
I don't mind a game like that to start the season, we could use a trial and error game to begin most seasons before facing fla, ucla, geo, etc.
