Vols favored by 26 over Memphis

I live in Memphis and I have been to all but one home game. They really suck. They played Ole Miss tight for 3 quarters but they always do. UTMartin even had them scratching their head. Lot of off field issues with everyone wanting Tommy West fired. They had 3,000 fans show up to the ECU game that was on ESPN2 and got it handed to them. I am telling you, a good high school team could beat them right now because of all of the problems on and off the field. Unless this is a game where CLK puts in second and third string by half, we will have 35 points before half time. This really could be a 56-10 win for us.

Given our special teams ineptitude I'm making no predictions other than at least a 10 point win.

:crossfingers:Historically, Memphis plays UT tough.:boxing2: I hope the Vols don't come into this game thinking it's going to be a cakewalk! I hope they come out strong and don't let up until the last second clicks off the clock! GO VOLS!!!

only if SC didn't score a touchdown last week...it would've been 0 touchdown given up for 16 quarters after the Memphis game.

what was the line for the Ohio game btw?

A shutout is possible, but we will be breaking in a new middle linebacker - again.

GO VOLS ! !

Vols are banged up. May be a game to sub a lot--and rest up for OM. But---CLK wants Max effort every time out---and the offense needs work. Hardesty gets his 100 then Brown gets his. Should be a pic 6 or two in this one, hope one is for EB---been waiting all year for the record. All that said, if the Vols come out jacked up in this one--following the last two, we will know that Lane IS all that. Nuke sure picked the wrong game to miss---if he in fact does go. Someone needs to tell Nuke that there is only one ball--and OKU ain't complaining about playing time---PUBLICALLY anyway.

Good point. Normally I think we'd beat the tar out of 'em, but it could look a bit ugly like the Ohio game where we had Rogan out with suspension, N.Reveiz injured early, and L.Thompson, Lathers and C. Walker all out with injuries. We'll see.

This game will get ugly very quickly. Hopefully, Tennessee will put at least 50 points on Memphis, so I can rub it in the face of every Memphis fan I know.

I may have overlooked it somewhere but does anyone know if the game will be televised or PPV only?

Take Tennessee and the points, this one will be a laugher by halftime. Memphis is absolutely putrid. Good time to get some young guys some playing time and rest up the front liners for Mississippi.
