Ok guys I cant stand to see these 'SO CALLED" vols fans want to throw DD under a bus... Lets look at the BIG picture. Recruiting is good but to the main part. Lets look at our record 4-6...lets look at the 6 loses 1. Florida with all there starters before there season turned into hell. 2. Georgia who will be playing for the SEC championship and ranked top 10 3.LSU number 1 team in the nation 4. BAMA Ranked number 1 at time they flip flopped with LSU. 5.South Carolina who beat Georgia who is playing in the SEC game ranked top 10. and ARKANSAS the number 3 team who WILL beat LSU friday!! So i mean really guys we have alot to look forward to and im pumped for saturday and every saturday after!! GO VOLS:loco: ..LAST BUT NOT LEAST DOOLEY IS OUR GUY!!!

It's too early to tell if Dooley's our guy. We've been playing with a depleted roster, and no amount of coaching would change the outcome of these games with our players out. We'll know more next year. As for right now it's still up in the air

And I don't get how Vandy deserved to win. Prior to Bray's pic6, we were in full control...but I guess it's Dooley's fault that the LB took that ball 99 yards.

We are winning the games we are expected to win, based on pre-season pundits. The only games we got rolled in were by what are expected to be the top 3 teams in the nation come Monday. We hung w/ Florida, who I agree was beatable, even after the loss of possibly our best player early on. Then we hung w/ a very solid Georgia team. I'm actually shocked at how well we did vs LSU and Bama in the first halves and we had a non-EE frosh at the helm vs USCe and Arkansas. Bray is back and we're where we should be...1 win away from a bowl and the extra practices.

Now if we don't win 8 or 9 in 2012, then I will also question Dooley's future in Knoxville. But we are way too early for that.

Dooley is not my guy. He sucks. I have never seen such discombobulation from a coaching staff. We look like keystone cops on the sideline. Calling timeout to take a knee. Throwing fade routes on third and one. Throwing the ball over the crowded middle on third and goal. He possesses no basic football knowledge. I can't stand him, so don't include me in your ludicrous decree.I am willing to suffer the consequences of another coaching change. I know it will be problematic, but why procrastinate? We can either address our coaching problem now, or we can wade through a couple more terrible seasons and then make the change. I'm for fixing it now and dealing with the carnage. Dooley is at UT because of his last name. That is the only thing he has going for him. He's a born loser who has never accomplished anything in the coaching business. People keep bringing up his great recruiting. He is a middle of the pack SEC recruiter and one of the worst two or three coaches from an X's and O's standpoint. Where does that leave us...about .500. A lot of Vol fans like you are happy with that. In two years when we fire him, I am SOOOO going to come on here and say you are all a bunch of idiots for supporting this loser. The writing was on the wall but you were too cowardly to read it.

For the sake of making a point, let's imagine that Dooley leaves U.T. after our bowl game.
Who do you think might be really interested in the job?
After Fulmer was fired, we tried Bill Cowher, Tony Dungey, Jon Gruden, Lovie Smith, Butch Davis, etc. etc.
The only person who was truly interested, other than Kippy Brown, was Lane Kiffin. Not much interest from any one.
Then in January 2010, Kiffin left. So, we go to the same list and even include some new names. Still, we get no real interest.
Meanwhile, in sunny Southern California, they are in need of a new coach at U.$.C. They contact, Jack DelRio, Jeff Fisher, Bruce Matthews, etc. etc. They find that no one is really interested in that job, so they end up hiring their 10th choice.
What has changed at U.T. from November 2008 until now, that would cause a great caliber coach to come to U.T.???
Oh yeah, we would owe Dooley a huge pay out if he were fired at this point. So, we would need to pay the new coach and also pay Dooley.
I am just wondering what the solution is to finding that great coach right now and would it be wise to pay Dooley to leave.

They've played now 1, 2 and 3. They've only lost to each other also, except LSU. Tennessee isn't the only team losing games to those teams. Georgia and Carolina are right behind those two and neither are slouches either. The SEC is stacked with competition. I can't really remember a time when it's been this strong and deep too. Might as well make it 6 NC's in a row. It's staying in this conference for now.

Coach Dooley has done a tremendous job keeping this very young group of players together. There is no coach in the country that could do any better under the circumstances Coach Dooley inherited. Volumnus is about as stupid and bitter as anyone I have ever known.. I believe in this coach and his ability in keeping players believing in themselves..Give it up and enjoy the ride. It is going to take a while to build a solid base from where Fat cat and little kitten left this proud program.
