Personally, I could care less whether or not fans leave before the game is over. I left early during last year's Florida game at the beginning of the 4th quarter just because I was so disgusted with the product that the coaches put out on the field. I spent money on gas, food, tickets, and more gas just to go to the game to support my team. If I want to leave early because of poor play, poor coaching, or to beat traffic, that is what I will do.
That being said, if anyone deserves a right to be upset with fans leaving early, it should be the coaches and the players. I don't believe I've heard anything from them yet.
I agree that is your right. I'd love for everyone to stay until the end and cheer, but it doesn't offend me that you leave when you feel the outcome is no longer in doubt. To be fair about your last point though, I don't think the players or coaches are going to call out their fanbase during a rebuilding year (or two). I do remember some comments, facebook statuses, etc whatever , from players from last year about the fans and the booing.
