Not sure if that was intentional, but you flipped the names attributed to the quote.I’ve fully given up on dissecting these reports. I swear it’s the same crap every year lmao you’d spin your head off trying to find a consistent narrative. Vols media can’t even seem to agree on what events are occurring in reality at these practices.
quarterback order remained Jake Merklinger, Joey Aguilar and George MacIntyre. Merklinger was the sharpest and most consistent on this particular day, and MacIntyre ended the period with a nice deep ball. Overall this was one of the cleanest routes-on-air periods we’ve seen in camp outside of an Amari Jefferson drop.

The routes on our sessions was once again a good one. This is great progress just in terms of the sloppiness we saw over the weekend in the period. The past two days have been pretty solid. The quarterback rotation flipped back to Joey Aguilar first and Jake Merklinger (second) today, with freshman George MacIntyre repping third.

21-0Nope, 15-0.
lol no it wasn’t intentional. I’m not bothering to change it since it doesn’t really change the point I was trying to make but thanks for pointing that out.Not sure if that was intentional, but you flipped the names attributed to the quote.
P brown said the order was the same
E cain said ot flipped
The 105 roster limit is in effect. There are those here who follow the roster and limits closer than me but we are still under the Pruitt era scholarship dings, I believe, which might account for 1 or 2 spots existing that would be scholarship guys but cannot be.The question I have is do "walk-ons" still exist? They called Weary one, which I know he was last year. Did they go to 105 or was that put-on hold? Any insight would help, thanks!
Yep. I think of athleticism as a combination of size, strength, speed, and just how smoothly guys move around. The guys look extremely explosive and silky smooth in these videos. Strength is hard to see in practice drills but they are violent on the sleds the team as whole looks more muscular that previous teams in recent memory. And they aren't just big, they're shredded.Athletic and big. Two things you need to be successful in the SEC. We finally held a coach down long enough to let him build the roster properly
From what I have heard the center position is not settled and there are depth issues for the rest of the Oline. I would not put that in the positive column. In addition, as talented as he is having a true freshman at right tackle makes me uneasy. To this point in fall camp:
Positive:
- O Line
- D Line
- LBs
- QB Competition
- TEs
Mixed bag:
- DBs (DEPTH)
Areas of concern:
- WRs (DEPTH)!!!!!
Honestly it is refreshing to hear that the lines are gelling nicely. It cannot be understated how having lines helps win.
Glad to hear Mathews praise. He has a huge opportunity this year if he can just stay healthy.
I may just be missing it, but I have not heard a lot about RBs. I think it is just the nature of when the media is allowed to watch that RBs are not really the focus.
I could have been reading too much into it, but Elarbee’s comments yesterday made it sound like Satterwhite wasn’t quite as ready to play as some of the others he commented onSeems like the staff are high on Perry and want him on the field - which is encouraging. I assume that's why Pendleton is getting more reps at center.
It's a long camp and we see so little and try to read too much into everything so a little humor helps.Had to go back and watch it again, nice catch!![]()
yep...saw that and was going to post it as well....do these guys even watch the same practices?I’ve fully given up on dissecting these reports. I think it’s fair to say at this point with his snapping issues that he’s Sam’s backup. Which is fine since that frees up a guard spot for Perry. I think that’s a pretty good rotation if you ask me. Just young is all.I could have been reading too much into it, but Elarbee’s comments yesterday made it sound like Satterwhite wasn’t quite as ready to play as some of the others he commented on
