Heupel has lived on a strong run game since he has been here.

Everybody talks about Hooker and the space + pace offense, but a huge part of setting that up is a consistent run game.

Even last year when we couldn't complete a downfield pass and defenses knew we were most likely running the ball, Sampson still had a breakout year. Now we are back to having multiple fresh legs to sub in.

Swain saw the scrimmage. Yesterday on his show he said something to the effect that GMac has the best tools and throws the best ball but is a Freshman and doesnā€™t have the size yet to take hits, Joey obviously has the most experience and Merk was the worst

I honestly think he is just dumb, which was what I was trying to say. Idk if there is any malice involved, I think heā€™s just a dumb person.

He struggled early in the year, but played well the back half. He came to camp badly out of shape last year and it took him a while to acclimate.

I think he has been an upgrade from Mack to this point and I love Mackā€¦ if he can get hiter or georges or both in the next couple of years he will be a clear cut upgrade and possibly a top 5 rb coach in all of college footballā€¦
